Dinner was great. We have eaten at all the restaurants. The steak House is of course the best. The staff in the casino , hotel, and restaurants all perfect. Rooms are clean everything is clean. Upscale and fun. The only thing that's odd is the small simple pool. With the resort feel it feels like an afterthought. Especially if you visit any of the other casino type resorts. Other than the pool great place!
While visiting San Diego we asked for recommendations for casino and the hotel driver highly recommended Barona. Rented a car and headed out there for a few hours. A few hours turned to an entire day. My husband and I had so much fun. Slot machines were very nice to me and kept us going all day. Had a comp dinner at Sage and the prime rib dinner was delicious!!!!!!!!! We also got an $8.00 voucher for the food court and took back some sweets. The cinnamon rolls are amazing. Staff was so friendly and helpful. If ever in San Diego GO TO BARONA'S CASINO.
The rooms are nicely appointed, and the suites have large jetted tubs and wonderful Bulgari green tea scented soaps and shampoos. Fun little gift shop with constantly rotating merchandise.

Love the buffet here!! Lots of options and small changes every day, with slightly larger changes every month or so. The steak restaurant is really wonderful, upscale with live pianist.
Very recommended for a quick getaway with friends for a few hours. Remember to play responsibly.
Ok place for entertainment but i wouldn't want to bet it's the best. The buffet however is really good, the selection is well diversified and the seafood is awesome. Just wish they could include lobster dishes more often.
Barona gets 5 stars from me simply because they are the only non-Nevada casino I have encountered that still has 9/6 jacks or better video poker. Also, they have the friendliest staff, who make it a fun place to be. The views from the hotel are spectacular. Check out my photo of the beautiful hawk that landed on our balcony one morning.
